Reconnected.
Here's some from me finally.
Not sure what happened with my development here as this was mid-roll and the frames before and after were fine, but I liked it anyways.

Just purchased a 67. I have a couple questions for experienced users of this camera. The 67 owner's manual (on-line), p. 31, states "At shutter speeds slower than 1/60th sec., blurring may occur even when a tripod is used." It also says blurring may occur when using extension tubes or lenses over 300mm. Anyone having this problem?
I've also purchased the 55-100mm zoom. Anyone use this camera - lens with a monopod? I have a tripod, but was considering carrying a monopod for travel. Any comments or insight on using the heavy zoom handheld?

Most of my photos are landscapes around 1/8 - to 1 sec using a tripod. I have the mirror lockup which I use. My photos are sharp.

I think the manufacturer was just cautious stating the 1/60th as a threshold. Some people are just shaking their cameras all over the place...
I've shot my 200mm at 1/15th and while the images weren't razor sharp, they would certainly suffice for a nice 8x10 inch print...

Thanks for the replies to my question. I think the manual is advising the use of the mirror lock-up when using slow shutter speeds. Even when tripod mounted, the mirror slap may cause vibrations that blur below 1/60 sec.

Welcome to the "I succumbed to Pentax 67 GAS" club!
I have the original, non-mirror lockup 6x7, and shoot almost exclusively handheld. Based on my experience, I think it's possible to get sharp shots with shutter speeds at or below 1/60 if you shoot carefully. A lot of my shots were taken in the 1/60 to 1/125 range. If possible, I often brace my body against something when using slower shutter speeds.
I have an album of 6x7 photos on my Flickr with various lenses up to 200mm, and I've posted a lot of samples in this thread. Perhaps you can judge for yourself whether that meets your criteria for sharp enough. However you end up shooting, whether on a tripod or handheld, enjoy the camera and the wonderful negatives it produces.

Nice portfolio, Dourbalistar. I especially liked the b&w pictures.

Thanks! Hope to see some of your images with the 6x7 here on the thread soon, too. I mostly shoot black and white, but sometimes I'll shoot a roll of color to mix things up.

Yes, the zoom can be used hand held. The weight adds some stability (until your arms become tired...). Perhaps not the most suitable combination for street photography, but sometimes you have to work with what you've got..

I just looked at this photo again and thought to myself, hm, that looks like a Beers and Cameras event.
Surprisingly, we don't have a chapter here in the Bay Area, but my friend and I did go to a meet-up in San Diego at the end of May. Super fun and we met some cool people! I had my 6x7 with me, but it was way too dark in the bars that we went to (at least for me), even with the 105/2.4. One guy there was blasting away with his Xpan, though, loaded with HP5+ pushed to 3200, totally undeterred by his f/4 lens.

Speaking of which, maybe I should try HP5+ pushed to 3200 in my so-called Poor Man's Hasselblad...
