Got a kit on loan, 6x7 body, meterless prism, and 105 2.4 :)

I've got the same kit (with metered prism) on loan as well 6 months ago (0% fee interest for 4 months). Now is all payed off and it was the best investment ever. Have a great time with it!!!

I just love this camera. 2 weeks ago got 2 more lenses:

SMC Takumar 55mm F3.5:

SMC Takumar 67 300mm F4:

All pictures are hand held and self developed at home in Kodak Xtol and scanned with Epson V800.

Love the girl sitting there! Was that wide open at f/4?

Yes both pictures with the 300 lens are wide open at f/4. There are not so many good reviews about this lens, but personally I like it. Anyway the best one is the 105 at f2.4:

Again both at them wide open at F2.4 I just love this camera!

After a year without a P67 body, I picked up a clean unmetered body up late this summer and a pristine 105/2.4. Been slowly shooting HP5+, metered for shadows at ISO320, developed for 5:45 in Ilfosol 3 @ 20C. Scanning on an old Epson 4490 with an anti-newton glass... First roll has been nothing but perfection, just like saying hello to an old friend again. I don't plan to let go of this camera.

slightly off topic, but does anyone know where one can get the metal strap lugs for this beast? Mine doesn't have the lugs and I want to finally put a strap on it. The $50 - $70 prices they have on ebay seems a little high?

Thanks!!

Did you check KEH? sometimes buying the whole strap with the lugs is cheaper than separates. I found mine that way

Can you tell me the rationale behind wrapping each roll individually? I have probably 300 rolls in the freezer and want to be sure they're safe.

I'm guessing, but it's probably to prevent moisture getting to the film. The foil wrapper should prevent anything getting to the emulsion, but the extra wrap will prevent the cardboard from degrading. I have a few rolls that have been freezer and fridge stored for 25+ years and the boxes look a bit moisture damaged. Film is fine though.

It's just to spill-proof the boxes against liquids; with two little ones @home you never know and I had some previous experiences with ice cream. The foil wrapper is strong enough to keep the roll safe.

This is a photo of me, taken by my friend John, using my Pentax 67 and SMC Pentax 67 90/2.8 on Velvia RVP.
I scanned and edited it, and cropped it square.
