Pentax 67 Gas!

I really liked my Pentax 6x7, no MLU.
I loved the feel of SLR, the flat film, no turns.
The lenses exquisite and that lovely rectangle 6x7 cm..
Color superb and the lenses were and are great.

^ Would I be out of line if I mentioned the 2 above posts seem at odds with each other ? Peter
No, not out of line. Perhaps leicapixie has steadier hands than me, or generally used faster shutter speeds? For my shots that were less than perfectly sharp, I was pushing the edge at 1/30 or 1/60, using either a 90mm or 105mm lens. Probably not ideal, given the rule of thumb of using a shutter speed reciprocal of the focal length? And I think that reciprocal shutter speed rule of thumb is for 35mm, not 6x7?

Either way, it's a great system that produces wonderful images.

Pentax 6x7 | 90 f/2.8 | Portra 400 | Unicolor press kit

A frame from my test roll through the P67 system. Loading film was a tricky ordeal, hence the light leak, but I'm loving the results, so far.

My 2 posts are not at odds, if one reads slowly..
When doing close-ups, macro work, requiring greater depth of sharpness,
I was using photo floods, making more heat than light,
I was using speeds that are impossible to hold in any film camera..
Long exposures obviously.
In general use though, Pentax 6x7 was hand held..
