Pentax SP-F repair person or shop in Tokyo?

I have a Pentax Spotmatic F and I was finally able to locate and buy a junk SP F with a split image focus screen. Now I would like to swap the microprism focus screen in my current SPF to the split image focus screen from the junker.

Note: I have taken the junker SPF apart but the exchange is still more than I want to try at this time.

Does anyone know a good repair person or company in Tokyo that can do the work for me?

Very nice guy... one week turn around and reasonable rates. Attached is a photo of the exterior of his shop ;-).

Here is Hasegawa Kosakusho ( 長谷川工作所 ) inside his workshop. I picked up my Spotmatic F with the exchanged focus screens... good job. Like many independent repair guys it's best to call to see if the work is done before you try to pick it up ;-).

What are the reasonable rates?

Pentax service center in Shinjukui would not work on the old Spotmatic F and gave Hasagawa as a reference... You can call for a repair estimate, but only in Japanese. I believe you can also email in Japanese for an estimate. I understand from my local development lab that they have also used delivery service rather than a trip to Ueno. Seems that Pentax is one of his specific areas of repair...

In my case he quoted a price for focus screen replacement and shutter adjustment... I only did the screen replacement, but can go back within a month or so for the adjustment at the original quoted price. Very reasonable approach and easy guy to work with...

the quote was 20,000 for shutter speed adjustment and screen replacement on a Pentax SPF... I provided the replacement focus screen. Turn around was one week.

Nice spotmatic. I also have a black spotmatic as well as the silver SPF.. the F is the same camera I used in the '70s. I have noticed that the supply of SMCT has dried up in the last 12-18 months.
