Very nice! Looks like a road in Wind Creek State Park, Alabama.
Yes, a fairy-story wood!
The "Valley Isle"
And this is the valley, with Haleakala volcano wrapped in cloud as seen from the West Maui Mountains. Look closely low-center to see a commercial airliner making its approach to the airport at Kahului. Wailuku Heights, Maui, HI.

Cameras. I has it.
There are so many wonderful photos in this thread. Thank you, everyone, for sharing these!
The thing I see in Pentax cameras, from the earliest film cameras to the latest digital ones is a "clean" design - an almost effortless way of using the controls, no clutter, and a balanced understanding of the set of features which photographers need.
I started with a Pentax SP500 and 55/2 Super Takumar in 1971. That was my only camera and lens for 15 years. I still use it.
Although I have many other cameras, in recent years I've added to my Pentax family:
Pentax Auto 110.
Pentax H3v (SV)
Pentax SP500
Pentax KX
Pentax 6x7 MLU
Pentax K10D
The K10D I got for $10 from a friend and I added a 35/2.4 Pentax DA lens to it. Although I have an X-Pro1 and a D700, the K10D is much more enjoyable to use.
Among my many lenses (and I love the old style knurled lenses) is an 8-element 50/1.4 which I have yet to use.
Thank you for this.

For all you Pentaxians out there, part of the Sept 1979 issue of Popular Photography review of the Pentax MX - they don't review like this cameras any more.

My first real camera was my Pentax K10D that I bought new in 2008.
Here's a recently re-edited photo that I originally shot shortly after first buying the camera. The image was originally shot as a color jpeg. I cropped it slightly and converted to B&W in Ps.

Besides the spectacular landscape and great composition of that photo, it's nice how the tones change from sky to ground.
I can imagine that would look great in watercolor as well.

One of my favorite Pentax lenses is the original SMC PENTAX 50/1.4
This is from 2012, and was taken with the Pentax, at f/1.4
