I think I have been to Winnipeg, but it doesn't stand out in my mind. I certainly was never at a beach in Winnipeg...
I dare anybody to tell me a place with more stunningly beautiful women than Israel. There are beauties everywhere (a product of evolution no doubt) but somehow they seem to have concentrated the gene pool a bit in Israel.

On the other hand, those same women become Babushki much earlier in life than French women, for example.

I'll second that. 100% true. Most spectacular on the planet.

Back to topic, mostly couples ask me for a photograph, and usually with their cameras...The last time a bunch of jerkies, throw me with some pebbles and then asked for a photograph!

Colombia has the most beautiful women I have ever met or seen, especially Medellin. The attachments are of various women through out the country.

Israeli women are indeed beautiful(I've traveled europe exstensivley so I have a point of reference),and they are very different from each other because of diferent ethnicities (the largest jewish ethnicities in Israel are jews from eastern europe,north africa,asia,ethiopia,argentina etc.). But they have their disadvantages.

There is an interesting website on virtual attractiveness here.

This woman was found most attractive by our test subjects. Also staff of the model agency selected it as being suitable for a model career. But this person does not exist in reality - she was computed by blending together the eight most attractive original female faces. Their skin is absolutely perfect and actually looks rather artificial. But it is this kind of perfection that obviously attracts test subjects. All this shows that we judge people and ourselves on a totally unrealistic basis.

I was always touched by the Iranian girls who approached me to photograph them. I'm sure they were actually just curious about this foreigner wandering about their country, but they were very sweet and brave to approach - I often saw them harrassed by men immediately thereafter. I was glad to see the women return it with contempt. I must confess I loved the Iranian women, in spite of the barriers to contact.

Having said that, I've travelled in Latin America quite a lot and often encountered Argentinian women travellers. I don't recall a single one who wasn't deeply beautiful. Not the Barbie Doll beauty so popular in North America, but something more profound. They always seemed to be from wealthy families, of course - something I don't usually admire. I recall one young woman who came riding, sitting her large black mare, looking the aristocrat she was. It was all so poetic . . .

I find it an annoyance, because I am either after something specific or else looking for something worth a frame or two: and people often do it deliberately to annoy. I would use Pherdinand's trick, or one similar to it, but for the fact that I do not like to mislead. There is hope, however: I have learnt, since I came to this forum, that FrankS may well be the ultimate source of wisdom. Us wet darkroom types is like that, you knows. It's the metol stains what does it.

Ha!. I've got Persians coming out of my _ss. I married one! I also have Persians from my Mom's side. Her cousin married a Persian guy and moved there and another cousin married a Persian gal and stayed in Germany. That was back in the 40's, however, so I have lots of Persians in my family.

I'll have to say that Miami IS #1. Though the pretty Canadians, beside Winnipegers, sure are pretty in Thunder Bay and "The Sault." 😉

About English women, you have to go to southern England. There they are polite and multi-choice. Here's a pic of my Persian whiffy. Notice the strong chest. I'm so lucky! 😉

Well, it easier than saying I'm using E6 film overexposed by 1/3 stop, planning to C41 xpro it, and it's a wide angle lens.

Brilliant, Jon: except that I'd use it not in place of a complicated response but as an alternative to the simpler "Piss off." Life can get messy if one needs to be rude and likes to be rude but does not wish to be called rude.

Be prepared to run like hell after you return the camera and they check the image on the LCD screen. 😛

I'm trying to find a fake peel-and-stick LCD screen with a picture of a chimp on it that I can use on the backs of my film cameras. 😀 if anyone knows where I can get one, let me know.

Well.. you could just make a simple print and tape it to the back of your camera.. I know it's not perfect, but might add to the effect 😀
