Perfect pocket camera?

You want quiet, get the Olympus XA. If you are standing next to a person using an XA, you won't be able to hear the shutter release. AS quiet as a Yashica Electro 35 GSN, but that's definitely not a pocket camera.

I find the Yashica almost amusing in that regard. The shutter sound is relatively quiet, but the film advance starts out with that "THUNK" and then the "zzzz" winding noise, both of which undercut the quietness of the shutter.

YMMV/ScottGee1

Yeah, I hadn't thought it through. Been a long time since I owned a GSN. OK, scratch the GSN. Substitute Rolleiflex (shutter release sound only).
