Hi all...
Being "blessed" with living in Cologne (at least when it comes to being able to go see Photokina) I'd like to know who's coming to town this September...
Anyone interested in meeting sometime, someplace for a bit of sightseeing, "RF talk" or a "Kölsch" beer?

Sorry: didn't see your post earlier (We've had the builders in -- and as the builder is an old mate, and an ex Hell's Angel, and stayed 3 days on a social visit as well as doing the work, we've been preoccupied).
Frances and I are going for the whole show, staying on Fischmarkt. Yes, let's try to arrange to meet.

I'll send you a PM on Wednesday with my phone & mobile numbers. I applied to be "Assistant for one day" with a photographer at Photokina and don't know which day he's going to need me (if at all). I should know by Tuesday though. I'll be able to start "planning something" by then...
I suppose it won't be your first visit to Cologne, so, if you have any suggestions about where, what, when... I'm just a PM away...

FYI, on Thursday, the 25th of September, there's going to be an informal "get together" with professional photographers from 18:00 hours till closing time in Hall 6 at Photokina...
More info and registration (unfortunately in German only) can be found here: "Meet the professionals".
But hurry, limited number of places available...

PS: Guido is one GREAT photographer (and an even greater "Mensch") and I'm sure many of you have pictures made by him in your home (CD covers for example).
PPS: As all of the photogs listed above live in the US, I'm sure English speakers will be able to have a good time too...
