Beware of Claws
Gene,
Here's another foggy tree picture, I really like yours by the way. Nice mirror image in the water. I like the Fuji Neopan too, just used it for the first time recently and I plan to use more of it.

Very nice, Michael! I love fog pics and this is a good one. Something about the sprinkler going in the fog makes this special.
Love those (to us in Canada) exotic palm trees!!

Thanks Gene,
You've got to get up early to catch the sprinklers

Shot with a Busch Pressman D 4x5. Since it has a rangefinder attached to the side, I figure its classified as a rangefinder camera. Tent Rocks National Monument, New Mexico.

I haven't been shooting much B&W; not many tree pics either. There are some great ones posted so far...

Doug,
As Halloween approaches, I see the stump moving, crab-like, across the sand!!! ~ ; - ) Very nice.

Honu-Hugger,
Thanks. I like your first pic most, with the palms "diminishing" toward the beach. Good job.

My M5s need red dots!
Breathtaking shots... I'm just presenting my very humble offer... A Midwestern, backlit tree.
Thanks, H*; it was your nice stump in the waterfall that reminded me of that one! And, yeah, I thought maybe I had to shift position slightly as I framed that shot, to keep that crabby looking thing framed the way I wanted... It must have been inching imperceptibly up the slope...

Here's another view of that tree, with my wife in there for scale.
