Australia/New Zealand Photos from RFF Camera around Australia and NZ

That's better i can see them now, Look pretty good.
Anyhow pretty good and i will see the camera in about 10 weeks i think.

Hey folks,

I got the roll developed and scanned at Kmart and here are my contributions...

I didn't have much time to walk around and shoot properly due to the job interviews I have been going through. So some family snaps, and few shots from Sydney CBD. There is also one product photography featuring my Leica CL. I was actually shooting some products for a client last week, and I just gave the FED a go. I must say I am very much impressed with the quality, as I usually spend considerable amount of time to get that background and contrast in Lightroom when I shoot digital.

Hope you enjoy the photographs, and many thanks for the experience. I look forward to seeing what this little gem can produce...

Cheers
Kutay

Very nice shots from the recent submissions. Really really happy this project has kicked off and kept its motion. Good on everyone who has been a part of it!

Fed-2 around Oz'n'NZ - Canberra stop-over

Fed-2 around Oz'n'NZ - Canberra stop-over

I had the pleasure of hosting the little Fed-2 during its stop-over through Canberra. Tempted to take it for a tour of our streets, but instead thought it fitting for our little Russian friend to walk a mile in my shoes - so a little walk around the property, about the town and to meet a dear old friend.

I'll update with a link here once I've collated my thoughts and impressions on using the camera.

Meanwhile, here's my five shots (TMY2 in Perceptol 1+3)

Cheers,
Mark

Waiting until I get a new thermometer to develop the other roll I put through the fed to choose the last two. Here are the first three

#1 My daughter got a new scooter for xmas. The fed makes a good action camera.

#2 The shot tower at Melbourne Central. Someone had to do it!

Love that Melbourne tower shot….and what is it about the Fed and dog's profiles ;)

Nice work mate….great to know there is even more coming.

Thanks,

@ricnak, its a pretty nice lens, nothing harsh with nice detail. I have to say I was mildly impressed. It sort of makes all the "v3 or v4 summicron?" threads a bit redundant doesn't it.

@stillshunter, the shot tower is a classic photo op in melbourne, they might as well have a "stand here, point camera up, and shoot" sign. Re the dog profile, it was nice having a bit of working distance! Usually I'm with a 35mm, and so I have to get too close and she thinks she is getting a pat, so comes even closer!

Got a new thermometer and finally developed the 2nd roll from the FED. The water out of the tap was right on 20 deg though, made me think of Marks (stillshunter) "no measuring the temperature" technique.

#5 The portrait. Although I didn't technically press the shutter

#6 Out the laundry window - this is where I do my developing, I'm surprised I don't get more dust - maybe its all stuck in the cobwebs?!

Thanks,
