Here's my effort after I hijacked the Fed from hausen (he has another new toy and I had a deadline). I prioritised speed over artistic merit and technical brilliance, plus I am not strong on the last two. Camera review in the original thread...
The full set (except for one accidental shutter press, 2 terrible under exposures and a few shots that were just plain crap) is here. Most are cropped a little to at least get rid of the area outside the negative (I scan with a dslr). Film is expired (in 2006) FP4+, at EI125, developed in ID11 1+1.

I'll make another post shortly with a few images and the selfie (and apologies to Mike for inadvertently copying his selfie style).

Nice work CamB. #3 is definitely a fave. Bends the eyes and mind a little with some great tones. Also what a great selfie. I'm sure Mike understands that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

I subliminally took a photo of a bike at a bike stand as well - also reminiscent of Mike's and totally unintentional.

Nice work Cam,
I think the whole set is quite neat, especially on such a short turnaround! Of the posted ones, the stairs and the crack, plus the selfie is great.
Good to see some more of the FED, now we just need to fill in the gaps between Melbourne and Perth and its all together, nudge nudge.

Finally, I had a chance to test out the beast. Here is my addition to the group, shot on one roll of Fomapan 100. The camera appears to have some issues with close focusing, but other than that, it is a pure pleasure to shoot with. The roll was shot over a few days and I managed not to forget to take the lans cap off, not even once... great success!

Excellent to see the FED in action again! I particularly like Benchwarmer and the timing of Gangs... Well done.

It lives!!
Pedestrian and Eyes are my favourites, I also love the selfie, are you surprised at how good the Fed is?!
I'm always astonished by the quality of the pics coming from the Fed, it kind of makes a mockery of our thousands of $ of Leica gear doesn't it? Don't tell my wife I said that!
Cheers,
Michael

Michael, I am not surprised as I have used a FSU rangefinder before, not sure which exact model of a camera it was, but it had a collapsible 50 3.5 and got some very good results from it. Many, non exerts, would not be able to distinguish results from Leica glass. When it comes to rangefinder 'value for money' it is hard to beat FSU cameras...
Another quirk with these cameras, including german versions, is the parallax error at close distance, hence the baseball is not sitting within the square.
