Fantastic work, Erik! I would like to ask two questions. Do you use an external rangefinder or scale focusing? What was the film?

Thank you all, Pan, David, Raid and Gabor!

Gabor, yes, I use a FOFER, that is a FODIS with a bigger wheel, so focusing is more precise. What always amazes me is the accuracy of the focusing system. However, it is slow.

The film I always use is Tmax400 developed in Perceptol.

I use a SBOOI viewfinder.

The prints are split-grade prints on AdoxMCC110 or Ilford MGFB.

I have three model A's, one from 1928, the others from 1930. I like the 1928 model with its mushroom release very much, but in use there is not much difference between the cameras. The condition of the lens is of course a very important factor when buying a Leica 1a.

Erik.
