Photoshop: where do YOU draw the line?

If it improves the image according to your own view ... go for it all the way I would say.
Personally I don't use it because I have a wet-darkroom but I know about the possibilities and they are great, so if you don't have a wet-room, why not ? After all it is there for being used
 
Shutterflower posted a good example. She posted the picture she took, then posted the picture she saw.

Everyone looks at photographs in a different way. When I looked at her original, this is what I saw.

Winogrand was right, nothing matters except the photograph. Once you put 4 sides around it, it is no longer "reality" anyway.

i should have guessed that most here would stick to the basics in photoshop.....it is a forum dedicated to *mostly* film based photography. still a good read.
