This is my favourite lens! I love using it at f/1.4 in low light. Lately I've been catching soccer matches at a local pub with some friends and I've found the lens does great in low light and pushed film.

And here's couple at a smaller apertures, though I can't remember what I used, probably f/5.6 or f/8.

Not the best, these were scanned by WalMart, and one by the little photo printer/scanner here, but it's with the 50 1.4

Here are a couple of 50mm f/1.4 LTM shots from me.
Wide open.
And stopped down a bit, sorry I don't take notes when out taking pictures.

I think I may be confusing my lenses. My 50mm 1.4 has 9 blades. Didn't someone here mention that you guys are talking about a lens with 7 blades?

I have a Canon 50f1.4 on my M3 with 400 ASA film but have not been able to get out to shoot with it. I have used the lens on a Canon 7 that was stolen and the lens is great. I had a wonderful Nikkor 50f2.0 on the Canon when it was stolen and I really miss that lens and the camera.

squinza, NICE photos. I can't wait for mine to arrive. The rendering looks very similar to the pre-asph 'lux (which is out of my reach).

Don't know the 'lux, but the Canon is a nice lens, even if I prefer the rendering of the 50/1.5.
I'm waiting for your photos!
