picture area frame moves, Contax G2 with

Hi all
I have just got a contax G2 and very excited about it. During taking a shoot and I notice that sometimes, the picture area frame is shifted to the lower right corner of a viewfinder and this makes the focus frame is not centered at all. I am googling but there are no answer for this.
Is that a normal behaviour when focusing with contax G2 and what is the meaning of this. Any helps, comments are welcomed here.

It is correcting for the parallax error which results from the center of the lens and the center of the viewfinder being in different places. It should be noticeable only when focusing on a very close object.
