Today, I am pissed!
It is just one of those days. The issue is that I have sent several requests to the distributor of Kodak here in Ecuador. I get nothing but no answers. I have sent emails, left a written message in person, but no anwers I am tired of laziness.
So I am moving my minimual quantities of purchasing film All to FujiFilm.
No more BN400CN C41, no more E100VS, I have 3 rolls left of E100VS, and 2 rolls of BN400CN C41, 1 roll of T-Max100, left to shoot. Then I am done.
I am moving to Fujichrome, Provia100F, Provia400F/X, Velvia50, (yes there is still some of this floating around here) I have decided, that it will be chrome from here on in, with some Neopan400. "Chrome it is" I quote KM-25!
No cheers this time.

Fuji makes some pretty good film, nice choice.
Speaking of chrome... I think I'm going to give up on color photography altogether after I finish the Kodachrome and Sensia I have in my film drawer. Which sort of means I have to give up on landscapes too, until I figure out how to make a B&W landscape that people actually want to look at.

If your problem is with the distributor; why are you blaming the manufacturer?
This is a rather bizarre thread. The fact that someone agreed with you is even more bizarre.

If the manufacturer can't be bothered to find a distributer able to do thier job, what is the likelyhood of them doing anything else right?
Admittedly, as I have said before, I have utterly no trust of Kodak as a corporate entity and I buy color from Fuji & conventional B&W from Foma/Arista. I do still buy BW400CN as it's the only decent C-41 B&W film to my eyes. But once Kodak gets around to killing it, I'll just do without.
No, the OP is simply a micro-cosim of what is happening to all of us. Leaving those who are unwilling to commit for those who are is only simple common sense.

I agree. I don't get why people are willing to disregard logic just because the word Kodak gets mentioned.

Mark: It sounds like you're done with Kodak, but if you want I can call the support line Monday on your behalf. I am sure they will want to know how their distributor is behaving. Just PM me with personal info on how they can get back to you.
