Please ... at least state your first name

I would very much like to see everybody state his/her first name when posting anything in the RFF. It makes things more personal when I know that the person commenting is "Tom" or "Jane" and not "Shoestring" or "Pistol" or similar. You know what I mean. While I can understand that some people like to stay anonymous, it would help if you could at least allow us to see your first name. I don't mean to annoy or offend anyone here. Thanks.

another good idea where to put it, since I can change my username. I just put it in my sig.

Many get confused by my username. My name is Gabriel. My last names' (odd concept in the anglo-saxon world, I know) initials are M. and A.

Had I known that I cannot possibly ever edit my username again, I would have spent a few more seconds when typing it up when I registered.
