Just a Plus-X fan page...
I love Plus-X aka PX125, i use it for for iso between 50 - 800.
I use it with Rodinal, Diafine and even more esoteric developers like Microdol-x and PQ Universal paper developer, but I love it especially with XTOL. Soon I will try Prescysol EF with Plus-X.
Here's a picture taken recently, at iso 400, using a LED handheld light, and developed in PQ Universal. Shot with M4-P with 35 Cron.
Here's one for Plus-X, iso 800 and Developed in XTOL 1+1
There is a bit of a lost shadow details and where the picture gets a bit flat, but it isn't as grainy as Tri-x at 800 and is still quite usable.
Plus-x, iso800, Olympus 35SP
At lower iso with XTOL, plus-x is quite detailed and sharp:
(Iso 200, XTOL, M4-P with 50Lux)
Plus-x can be bought cheaply online at freestylephoto.biz, it is repackaged as Arista Premium 100, while stocks last.
