I'm probably asking the wrong forum, but does the name change indicate a serious change of direction or is it to legitimise what already happens on the PNet "Leica" forum? By that I mean the somewhat loose conenction of some (many?) threads to "things Leica"

I think it's part of a general re-examination of the forum structure at Pnet now that Greenspun is back. For example there's also a question as to whether the small Pentax 6x7 forum should merge with Pentax forum or Medium Format forum...

It reminds me why I try to avoid that place, they play too rough for a delicate flower like me 🙂. It does have a wealth of info in the archives though.

A lot of us cross over b/w the two - mostly for the gear 😉 - Rich, who seems to be offended by Philip's comment, is also a member in good standing here too to the best of my knowledge.

I do think it's funny though - because I do read that forum as well. It's quite a riot when one speaks out against the brand...it's kind of like a pack of wild dogs that suddenly get worked up into a blood lust or something 😀

Sorry, with a Bob Atkins deleting my questions in his site feedback thread faster then I can hit the F5 key I won't go back.
I removed my portfolio a long time ago when a W/NW thread was heavily edited and some of the participants where banned.

I don't like the add policy where I'm forced to look at adds for software which doesn't run on my computer or ringtones I just hate, when I see my pictures linked to online shops I want a share and I don't accept any cooky and any script, or even worse, activeX controlls from third parties I've never heard of.
