Pocket Knives

My grandfather told me that there are three things one should always carry: a piece of string, toilet paper and a knife. Who am I to argue with him.

So I carry an Opinel size 12 with me wherever I go.

But what brand of toilet paper do you carry?

Bill, even a small blade is dangerous in the wrong hands. As I recall the jets on 9/11 were hijacked with nothing more than Xacto knives. Not saying there should be a total ban on knives, I just don't see the need or logic in carrying one all the time.
Wrong-they had "box cutters" which have razor blade in them.

The tiny Swiss Army Knife in silver Alox is always with me, one exceedingly sharp blade and a functional pair of scissors get lots of use - the nail-file/flat-head screwdriver less so. The other knife is a Buck model 055, you guessed it, a half sized version of their signature model 110. More gentlemanly than tactical, and small and elegant enough to be acceptable in polite company.
