I've sold here on RFF with good results but I got to choose who I sold to to minimize chances of a headache.

I want to sell more and looked on the Popflash site where it works on a consignment basis. Has anyone on this forum used them before and if so, what have been your experiences?

i have several times and one batch right now. i have bought or used their services for just about 18 years. nice people to work with

I've done a consignment sale through Popflash once, four years ago. The transaction went smoothly. I'd consider using them again if I had something to sell that falls into one of their specialties.

I’ve sold many items through them. Tony Rose is a pleasure to deal with and payments transferred expeditiously. I will use them again when the time comes.

I too have used their consignment program, worked very well several times. For instance, I fondly recall the time they sold my bought-used M9 for me...

Sept 2013 sent complete M9 package with all original contents in original packaging, including one battery and one 2Gb SD card... to PopFlash on consignment sale. They evaluated it and suggested asking price of $4487 with understanding that their commission is 13% if sold in the first two weeks, 20% thereafter. They put it on eBay with a slightly higher price to accommodate negotiations. They listed it for $4787 and 4 days later a buyer hit the "Buy It Now" button! Pretty pleased, and this was shortly before the corroding sensor issue became well-known.

I've purchased and consigned with Popflash for many years. Tony is first class!

It's like this: If you have a problem with Tony, YOU have a problem!

Thanks very much for all of the feedback. I am moving to California and will consign some Hassy V as well as some digital equipment. Looking to get into the new SL2 and native SL lenses.
