Went out and did a portrait shoot of a friend's daughter the other day with the M8, 50mm f2.8 elmar (m mount) and 35mm color skopar. Mostly the Elmar. Very happy with the results. Here are a few, and the link to the whole album http://ericjenks.zenfolio.com/p94170729

Overall, very pleased with the results. I didn't have any trouble focusing fast enough for the kiddo, good colors, and I was happy not to have my big D3 be intimidating and in the way of the portrait, if that makes sense.

Yes, uv/ir on all photos. 2nd is my favorite as well. It was a fun, relaxed shoot. Kid is a natural model. Easy to work with though full of energy. I was pleased the leica didn't slow me down.

Thanks all. Yes, they're very happy with the results. All photos posted here are with the 1958 elmar. Either wide open or at f4
