Upon examining the Exif data here at home, I spotted the problem (at my end): You hosted the photos at Fotoki which is blocked at my office (Horrors! A source of nudity!).

No worries.

Decided to give the Great Stone Horse of Chang another go this time as a B&W photo. I found it to be more dramatic. What do you think?

i like it much better too. makes the horse more contrasty and dramatic without the colors in my opinion 🙂
