The grain or noise I guess some would say. Is a lot more apparent on the M8 LCD than it is on a computer screen. And especially less once you actually make a print.
Very serene shot.

It's a great club. The 75 lux draws more beautifully than almost any other lens I have ever used. The only ones that I know come very close are the Zeiss 110mm f/2 planar for Hasselblad and Rollei and the Canon 85mm f/1.2L (FD version).
Here's an old film shot demonstrating the awesome interplay of sharp and unsharp that characterizes the lens:

contrast is amazing on this lens. i've only shot it for two days but right off the camera the jpegs look amazing. especially in low light, contrasty, situations, i'm continuously being awed by this little wonder.
and its so small! i've been using my 135/2 L and 5D for my telephoto, and not i've traded the 135 among other canon lenses to pick the 75/1.4. its so small and discreet with my M8, i feel almost naughty taking pictures with it

You are making good use of your 75! Subject pops away from the background.

So, after seven months of suspense, I finally got the M8 and am trying to get to grips with it...
