Nice Keith...
Btw I love how spp has the same color mode settings as what is in the camera.. Now I just shoot everything in std color mode and do my conversion latter in spp. However, for mono I still prefer setting it up in the camera so I can c the monochrom on the LCD.
W/ the discovery of the output size pull down I now shoot all large size raw and make the decision on what size tiff later..
- half size equiv to mid size raw
- normal
- double to emulate a 60mp (180 foveon speak) sensor output, if and when I ever want to print really really big.. (Never
)
I still use mid size raw for the custom setting on the dp1m for scale focusing that I intend to play w/ street photo w/ though so I can get the slightly faster write speed and the extra 2 shots from the buffer (9 instead of 7).
Got to admit, once u get used to spp, it is a d@m sight better then that crappy silkypix that u get w/ the Fuji cameras. Glad I don't have to use it.

And for something completely different ... this is what happens when you point A DP2M at the sun. The sensor takes on a life of its own!

The temple grounds have beautiful flowers, which were excellent subjects for the DP3M

I took all three, Gary, inside the ONA bag that Joe put us all on to. Fits perfectly, is relatively light, and a pleasure to use.

Personally, I think it is really handy having all three focal lengths, and since the weight difference is only like 400 grams, well worth it.

I think all three is probably less then my sd1m w/ the 10-20f3.5

Obviously that set up can do things the DPs cannot. But since the DPs do have live view, the same is true the other way around (not necessary for these images but really great to have when using filters).

Reminds me of color-field paintings from the 1970s. Awesome stuff!

So to achieve a nominated ISO of 5000 what are you guys doing ... setting it to 3200 then underexposing half to two thirds of a stop?

I use auto iso up to 3200 on my c2 setting (the one I use for general). Anything above 3200, I set manually via qs iso menu.
I have 1/3 stop incr enabled and normally set my ec value at -0.3.
