Thanks!
I don't have many shots taken with the RF glass, so will have to dilute a bit with a SLR mixture

never mind scope, you seem to have very good SLR lenses
thank you Maiku, the doves were doing that again and again so it was easy to get that shot, actually had aimed for the girl in green too, she had a crippled arm and was around to beg, didn't get that well though

very cool your shot too!
these are kind of street performers, but they don't do it for money but for fun. Actually it is a famous scene, a corner in a park in Shibuya, Tokyo, where people meet up on weekends to dress up as old style rock n' rollers and to dance to tunes of Elvis and the like, there had been many TV and magazine reports made: http://www.tokyorepublicblog.com/rocknrolla-yoyogi/

I had arrived late, on a sunday just at about sunset time and there was only one group of three people left

once again great photo Scope!
have been posting in other thread, also photos taken with the GXR M, but you are right, this thread deserves to be kept alive, best with high quality photography like yours!
samples taken with the 15mm Heliar always make a statement, of course without corner treatments:

Thank you , Andreas ! I would love to see you as well as others post more of their photos taken with the GXR setup. Its such a good system, two strong points for me -fantastic color rendering and 'bolt on' compatibility with the RF lenses...
... well , luckily its not limited to the RF glass only

right 'Scope'.
because it's sensor is of the size most lenses I am using had been designed for I shall get a Sony A series camera eventually,
but use and colors produced by the Ricoh are very special and I continue to love my GXR M!

Straight out of camera jpgs, lens was a Canon 50mm f1.2. I do like the fact you can shoot B&W Jpegs and still have the full DNG file to play with after the event.

Wow. If you told me these were shot on medium format, I would have believed it. My GXR is coming next week, and coincidentally there is a used 35mm Canon LTM for sale right now. Hmmmm.

ho, what an assessment! I wish you much joy with the GXR M!
Recently I bought a Sony A7, main reason was to see my many old lenses perform on a medium the size they had been designed for. The A7 has 2 more advantages which sometimes let me choose it over the GXR M, high ISO performance and that one can close focus RF lenses using a helicoid adapter. It's also faster in opration. Other than that I prefer the GXR M, it's use and the photos it takes. One important thing people who only have been using Sony mirrorless are not aware of, the GXR's focus peaking is much better and can be relied on.
the Canon LTM 2/35 is famed for reasons, amazing very small lens, two more taken with it

Superb colours! They don't look too "digital", unlike my Sony A5100, which is what made me buy a GXR again (had one a couple of years ago). The A5100 is great for certain subjects and looks -- and video, especially -- but for personal photography I think I'd rather have a GXR. Probably the only thing that would have made it better would be a CCD sensor (you get stuck at 800, but then I was shooting a Digilux 2 with max 400 ISO for years before I could finally afford a "real" Leica!).
Maybe it's just my eyes or monitor or combination of both, but Canon LTM lenses seem to work particularly well with the GXR. Apart from Kuuan's, I have also seen memorable samples from Canon 50mm 1.5 LTM. But that 35mm 2.0 is tiny! And I like the SLR-type focusing ring.
My GXR has finally arrived, secondhand but in almost new condition. It has a C Sonnar mated to it right now, and I'll see if it doesn't rain this weekend to go and grab some samples. This thread is one of the best on RFF.
