The best camera is one that still works!
Hah hah ... 'Hoges' is another one of the 'turncoats' who has made the decision to go and live in the US ... we don't miss Rupert I might add!

I love this photo, the light & colour are beautiful, plus how the wide view puts the cricketers in context of the landscape. What film is it?

Shaken, so blurred
This one, because I thought through a number of technical problems, mostly but not only of tricky lighting and glare, to get a shot that was very much as I'd pre-visualised it:

It is, however, an evil DSLR long-lens shot. The RF shot that gave me most satisfaction is because it was on the 1st roll shot as part of a project to work out a develop-myself-then-scan workflow to "routinise" film/B&W shooting. I was pretty pleased at how the first fruits of the experiment came out:

That one is an RF shot. It is also printed at 16"x10" and hanging on the wall.

These are so great, I look forward to seeing more!
A single shot (cropped to a panoramic ratio) and a several-image stitched panorama. Both presented in the printing aspect ratio (5x15 and 5x30, respectively).

Yes, Right There
It's not much, but this courtyard was kind of crazy. Undecided on the frame, though :bang:
P.S. I think this is the first photo I've really "put out there," other than on my website that nobody visits

This utility boat ran aground somewhere off the coast of South Louisiana. The guy with the cigarette reminded me of the Jackson Pollack stamp fiasco here in the US. I don't censor

Real Men Shoot Film.

My grandpa's cat after he died. She sat there like that, in the window looking down or outside, for over a month after he left us. She was born there and was 18 years old when he died.

We're all light!
I've looked at each and every photo in this thread. Not a dud among 'em.
The Graduates, June, 2009
(Technical: Hexar RF, 28mm f/2.8 M-Hex, Kodak BW400CN)
This was taken at Vassar a few months ago. Extreme left is Galfriend's younger son, graduating high school (a handful of weeks from when this was taken). His older brother, Man Of the Moment, center, and his friend, fellow grad that day. An exhausting good time was had by all (and, according to his rather large family, I'm the only guy who got it all down that day...on film, no less).
