Post your two favorite street photos

Ok, here goes my street photo. Took this a couple of years ago in NYC, alas, with a Nikon F and T Max.

The annual Memorial Day service at the Portland, Oregon, Vietnam Memorial Wall. I liked that the young lady, is a young Vietnamese girl. She did not mind a 28mm stuck in her face, either.

OK, I've got some images taken with an RF even. But how do I "attach it" to the post? (New Guy Question - LOL)

Russ,

That is an excellent image! For me, it very powerfully conveys a sense of hope for future generations!!!

nwcanonman,

to attach a photo in a thread that is going click on the 'POST REPLY' icon in the right hand corner (in the last post of the thread).
That will take you to a screen where you can browse and attach a photo.

Glad you liked it. Here is another one.

Thanks for the helpful tips! To Russ, very nice snaps, as always Bud. :D
I really am beginning to love this little Canonet QL17.
This is our Kids Fun Fair, taken last week.

Russ those two photos are great, like them a lot, as well as all the others, being Richard's 'toy soldier' my personal favorite.
Great thread, btw ! :)

The most enjoyable thread I've seen on the forum. All the images were excellent, and I know it's not a contest. But the ones that strike me the most are (1) Lady in hat -- has a million dollar smile. (2) The kiss -- the nearby seated gentleman with the grumpy look makes the image. (3) The little girl with the cutout dolls -- just cute and natural.
I've hesitated posting since my two personal favorites were taken with a Nikon SLR in the days before I could afford Leica equipment. But I notice others have posted, so here goes. Street photographer in Erzurum, Turkey. A reminder that I should appreciate all the nice photo equipment I have, and perhaps be a bit humble, as he is a pro, and I'm still an amateur:

Great snap! Was that made with the "special" Neopan 400CN that I gave you? I love the focusing patch of the QL-17, just wish it was as sharp as the Oly RC or the Viv ES. Doesn't matter, so, long as the image convey's the mood and feeling of the moment.

H* that portrait of little girl is now my favourite in this tread. She looks really happy and proud of her craft, well captured in the photo.

Fransisco, I bet that old man staring at you sternly was thinking "What a pervert, taking photos of kissing couples!" hahaha. Actually, he add extra marks to the shot in my opinion. Good one.

Off topic, I just spotted Oly SP on ebay australia. The seller says the film advance is stuck. I hope it is because the shutter can't be tripped from the AE lock when the light isn't suitable. Keep my finger crossed.

Kris,
Thanks for the compliment. I manned our booth there 3 hours and got lots of great kid pics.
Russ, Yes that was "your" special film AND now thanks to you I've got three RF's. You're a carrier of RFAS ! I and hope there is no cure ;)

Here is one of mine, she works in a tanning salon. Contax IIA with Sonnar f1.5 at f2.0 and 1/25 second. Fuji 100 print film.

What do you mean "thanks to you" you're an RF shooter now? Weren't you, before? The RF's won't replace the SLR's, but are a blast, liberating and make nice shot's. This is by far the best RF group, great bunch of shooter's and member's, wouldn't you say? I have seven rf's now, and wonder when it will stop? (great snap)

I know it's not a competition - just to post your two, own favorite street photos - but I must say that I think that H*'s two b&w photos of the children are amazing.

It's hard to disagree with that.
