Post your X-Pro1 images...

Anti-fascist demonstration in Stockholm yesterday. Went to participate and brought along my new X-Pro together with 35 and 18mm lenses - my first outing with the camera:

I had a chance to play with the X Pro-1 and 35mm/f1.4 the weekend before last, and took it on a trip with me to The Entrance (north of Sydney). Here are a few of the shots:

[more here, not all from the X Pro-1]

It's a very good camera, and takes good photos. But I'm not sure where or how it would fit in or that I'd use it in preference to my other cameras. A friend wants me to stick with it (she's rather committed to the Fuji system) and I can certanly see the attraction. But I see myself being more likely to take my M for some types of photography and an SLR for others. Something I'll have to ponder...

The second two shots are really fine looking. Impressively dramatic and well processed.

The first shot, though...it doesn't look good at all. Did you overexpose it or cook it that way?

I think it was a tad overexposed, but I also don't really know how it looks on your monitor. It printed OK, but I re-worked it slightly anyway (just minor tweaks) and compared the two side-by side. Maybe a slight improvement, maybe not. Perhaps the photo just doesn't work for you (it's hardly a masterpiece, just a sample I was playing with while trying to come to terms with the camera and pretty much the first shot I took with it).

My pleasure, sharing is why I photograph, and it's also why I love street photography! There's something special about it that makes sharing space with a bunch of strangers a whole lot more enjoyable and for lack of a better word - intimate. Happy you liked them and to be contributing to the lovely photos in this thread.

Whilst we're on the topic of sharing (and this might be over sharing!) after a few beers I met a lass, as you do... Whilst we were waiting on our separate trains on the same platform we shared my camera between ourselves for a bit, at the end she'd snapped more than a few shots that I would've been happy with myself, here's two:

Bonus... Again. This time of the photographer behind the camera on the two above:
