Post your X100 photos

This is a small section of an image below
I'm just getting used to this camera, it's an awesome travel camera, great quality.
I still need to watch the exp comp knob. As noted before it needs a lock or stiffer action.
This shot is overexposed due to me shooting in aperture priority at f 2.0 in bright sunlight, it maxes out at 1000th but the warning was missed by yours truly

Still I like the result

Still getting the hang of the camera, but I'm liking how it handles. I tested it out in a very specific type of lighting situation the other day:

Are you doing this with the in camera film simulation? I love it.

I want to try these film simulations but I'm afraid ill end up ruining a shot.

I thought you could shoot RAW and then do any number of in-camera conversions without altering the original?

Nope, I did those in post processing. All I did was convert it to black and white and add an overlay layer of grain to it.

how did you add grain to it, via photoshop or silver efex?

I used photoshop. A while ago I found a file on the internet that claimed to have "scanned" the grain from one of the black and white films. I use this file to overlay onto my image.

Went picnic with good friends that had just got their 2nd child. And the grandparents were visiting.

Only really got to 'work' with the camera yesterday. I'm happy right now that it's responsive, and with more practice, I think moments can be captured adequately.

With grandma.

Great pictures from everybody here.

Shooting the little Fuji at 6400 gives interesting results. The images have a little more grit to them and it seems to tone the saturation down somewhat. These two examples were both shot at ISO 6400 in near impossible light ... find another point point and shoot that can do this!

One from today. I think I'm starting to come to grips with the camera. Loving the quality of the lens.

Love it,

I love how this thread is most actual photography and not just random snapshots of walls at different iso's which is what i usually see on the nikon forum.

Here are some from today's Pride Parade in San Francisco. The gallery requirements are a little frustrating, because you really have to dial down the quality to get the file size to upload.

Anyway, this camera is really nice. The lens is very sharp.

This one is a color conversion (I haven't tried the camera's b&w options):

This next one is about a 33% crop—posting to show the colors
