Maggie, I really like your cat pics, well above the usual. The shot of Amelia and Michael is really sweet, both surely purring! "On the hunt" is well-caught apparently in tight circumstances; one can imagine a story there.

Of our four, we also have one named Scooter because she orignally would run and hide if spotted; after 10+ years she is still semi-feral and untouchable, and has your Jackson's coloring plus white feet.

Your Scooter sounds like a pretty cool cat- untouchable ferals have a "wild charisma" that kinda makes up for them keeping they're distance. Jackson's got a bit of it left in him; he was found on top of his dead mother in an abandoned, alleyway garage when he was about six weeks old and even though he's very affectionate and snuggly with us, he still gets that wild look in his eye and you can hear Michael scold him with a cry of, "No bite, Mister President!!!"
