very dramatic. what is he doing with that contraption? using it for a video boom?
It's a rig for shooting rolling shots of an automobile- so the subject is the car and it has a large boom attached to it by suction clamps. The exposures are a couple of seconds long and the car moves during the exposure, so you get an extremely motion blurred background with the car being still and in focus. In the finished print, the boom is photoshopped out of the photo, which is often a composite of several shots.
