28 Elmarit ASPH with which I have never had curvature issues as some wide angle lenses. I do see what you see but it may just be the effect of three layers of distance in the front of the building.

Indeed; not distortion. Interesting. I think I have a photo of it somewhere on a 21mm Super Angulon and one on 4x5 on a 47mm Rodenstock. I should see if the effect is there in those.

Actually my comment was about :
But don't waste your time posting a "straight" version of that just because I'm grumpy. Actually I enjoy the gritty tonality but no so much the enhanced small-scale detail to the point where thin white lines mark the contour of black areas.
Looking forward to future posts.

Haha sorry - didn’t think you would complain about that one compared to the other. With both my M11 and Q2M I get those white halos around black areas when reducing file sizes (no additional sharpening added). I believe they are called jpeg artifacts - caused when compressing images. I occasionally clone them out but usually don’t bother with any small file sizes for web posting unless they are truly intrusive. Maybe I should from now on - just for the grumpy viewer 🙂

They had especially scaffolded and fenced off parts of the Charles Bridge for my wife, the Scaffolding Goddess - wherever she goes, whatever she wants to see, it will be scaffolded. It’s a supernatural power.
