1938 Elmar 90mm f 4 uncoated - lenshead on a MicroVisoflex (shot in my garden two weeks ago when we had lots of sun here in Holland: both shots handheld) - btw the lens became very sharp and more contrasty after I got it dismantled and gave the lens parts a thorough cleaning (most of these lenses are quite cheap since they are hazy, but are easy to cleanup):

btw the below flower is only about 10mm in diameter...therefore not much bigger than the above insect

Summar, expired Lucky 100 film, no.2 yellow filter

Cool photo. I shoot Lucky too--it's slightly less than $2.00 a roll of 36 here in Korea. I luv it and so does my Korean wife (a slight penny pincher). I'm gonna try it w/ my uncoated Summar and a yellow filter too.

Thanks,
Bill

Raid,

that seagull shot is absolutely hilarious! I keep imagining that those black birds over on the next pier are getting very nervous, being stared down in this psychological war 😀😛

This fish market is one of my favorite places for photography in Pensacola, and there always many birds around. The "black birds" are pelicans, which are ... white.

I needed film fast for this week-long event back in 2009 and Lucky that was the cheapest stuff in stock (even cheaper because it was expired).
The negative was scanned with the HP scanjet software, which leaves much to be desired quality-wise.

1940 Summitar: location Ville de Grasse, France: 26 august Liberation day

(btw just got a nice SOOTF in the mail and currently am putting an UV/IR glass of a 39mm Leitz filter in a 41mm Summitar filterring which then will suit the SOOTF so that I can use the UV/IR filter on almost all my old Leica glass since it then fits the Summitar and all the lenses that need a 36mm filter 🙂

Thanks Ron! Your picture has an unmistakable wartime look, and not just the trucks. I also like Erik's photo of the girl on the bed.
Here's another one with the Elmar - my wife applying the bride's make up at a recent wedding.
