Hi guys,
I've just traded some Leica gear and got myself a silver Zeiss Ikon + a collapsible Summicron (and was even left with some spare change).
I received the ZI today and tried to mount the collapsible on it. I tried to mount it fully extended, locked on infinity (I didn't try to collapse it).
Strangely, the lens doesn't mount. I can put it in the bayonet, but can rotate it less than half way and then it's blocked.
I didn't try to apply force and/or to lub it.
All other lenses I have mounted easily on the ZI. The 'cron mounted easily on a Leica CL but had the same problem with a friend's Bessa R3A.
By a not so accurate inspection, it seems that the other lenses I have a little longer bayonet. Is it really so?
What should I do?
