I bought a Prominent II with an Ultron f2/50mm and a Skoparon f3.5/35mm. The whole thing looks new. It came in an everyready case that I haven't been able to find any info on. It is a flash case. It locks open, below the camera. Does anyone know the model or have any info on this? Here is a picture..

Voigtlander.

The original "Think Different".

I have seen these on EBay before, fetched ~$100. I believe that They are for the Vitessa, not the Prominent. Look at the hole in the front; it is for the Vitessa film counter. There "may" be some holes on the bottom to view the Vitessa film transport indicator. A must have with the crazy plunger advance.

It was simply listed as the "Flash Case". Fairly rare, a good coversation piece but not too practical as the day of the flashbulb has passed. I am down to my three dozen M3's. LOADS of flashcubes and AG1b.

Out of curiousity, what did you pay for the II? I got my I and Ia kits for $400 and $600, but included both Never-ready cases, Ultron, Nokton, two Skoparons, two 100mm's (one complete with some fungus), a BUNCH of filters, 2 turnits, a 35mm "eyes both open" finder (can't remember the name), hood, and the closeup kits, both...

There is a stray hole in the bottom of the case. So that would make sense. I could easily spend a small fortune on flash bulbs. It's kind of neat looking but not very useful. Unless I took apart a electronic flash and installed it.. But then I would be stuck with a case on the thing all the time.
JD- I paid $95 for the camera, case and extra lens..
