I picked up a huge lot of expired Velvia, Astia and Fuji RMS100/1000 this weekend for dirt cheap. I got my first roll processed at shoppers in C41 and I absolutely love it... better than I could have imagined. I'd like to do some night shooting with the RMS 100/1000 but I'd like to shoot at 400 or maybe even 800. I know you can push the RMS this far if you're processing in E6... but can you push and cross? If so, can I still get it done at Walmart etc with no special instructions.. or am I going to have to go to a pro lab where they offer cross processing and pushing/pulling?

I don't see why you couldn't push x-pro'd film. But for that much push, you will need to bring it to a place that does push-processing.

A single stop push in C41 chemistry is fine with pushable E6 films, Your talking about 3 stops, I have not tried it but I can't imagine it will be pretty.

hmmm... well maybe I'll start with a one stop push and go from there. I'm REALLY liking the Fuji RMS cross processed.. I'm hoping the Astia will look similar. It's too bad RMS is disco'd... gunna have to keep an eye on ebay.

Give it a whirl, worst thing that can happen is you end up with a roll of ugly pictures.
