It's out of reach for me but a year or two from now KEH might have a used one with your (or my) name on it. 🙂

Still, for those who live in Leicaland it's not so bad----$500.00 more than a 28mm f2 Summicron makes it a good deal, actually.

I'll give it some time but I think that my M9 and lenses are going on the market. I like the 28mm on my M9 the best and rarely use the others so this seems like the way to play. Better ISO, AF, IS,..... PDF!!

Pretty good Plan - if shot more 28 i would be right behind you in line

Yeh, I've a gripe too... the red dot hasn't been put on straight. It would be comforting to know it's level beneath the gaffa tape.

I never thought I'd be thinking about a digital camera again. As a few have said, this paired with a 50 lux version, or running along side the M with a 50 on it....😱.....especially if the M got a firmware upgrade to give the same colours..or sensor upgrade from the mystery sensor producer.
It's thin like a film M ...#GAS

This actually looks like a useful camera, rather than next best newest thing etc.
But then I've never used an evf.... (but shove a 28mm optical finder on the hotshoe..)

Actually I think it's quite amazing, the response so far. This camera looks like total trash to me.

It's not even a RF, which is, IMO, the Gestalt of the brand.

I mean let's be honest, this is basically a Sony RX1 with a slightly wider lens and a red dot?

If this had a crop sensor with the same FoV it would've immediately been panned, but it apparently has the FF "allure." What does it bring new to the table? Autofocus? Slightly, slightly thinner than an M240? I never get the whining over the thickness of the digital Leicas.

Folks can buy what they want but digital-wise, give me a used M9 and a few Voigtlanders any day over than this thing, at the same price range.

I also favor the 28 on my M9, and the Q is very attractive.

But......I think it will be even more attractive in about a year at 2800, lightly used 🙂

I must say, most are taking the EVF pretty calmly....
