I had a problem with my QL17, the rewind button seemed to be stuck and my first roll through the camera was ruined because it wasn't advancing properly. it had one other problem which was that the scale showing the F stops in the veiwfinder but this isn't a big deal as i don't intend to use it in A much if ever.
So after trying various fixes i decided that the only way to fix my rewind problem was to either get a tech to look at it or pull the bottom off and see for myself. well in the end I got out the screwdrivers and undid the bottom. biggest surprise was that it was the mask with the F stops on it that was jamming the rewind, next surprise was that on my second attempt (i left the battery door spring off first time) it all went back together and it works fine.
Now the question is do i try to crack the top cover and reinstall the mask.
Well that and how did the mask get down there in the first place??
