Question about filters/35mm CS+hood

I have recently bought a couple of lenses for my Bessa R. A Color Skopar 35mm and Nokton 50mm. I also got a couple of UV filters to protect the lenses (both by Kood).

The filter on the 50mm is fine and the hood screws right into the filter as it says in the instructions. But on the 35mm lens the filter screws in, but then the hood won't fit on the lens. The instructions for the lens say that the hood should slot over the filter and screw back into the lens. Anyone else had this problem, or should I be using a different brand of filters?

Mine are B+W, the chrome ones, and they fit OK but it is a very close tolerance a coat of paint would fill the gap

Thanks. I'll give Robert White a call. They sell the B+W filters, but they are expensive.

Most Heliopan, Leica, Hoya and B+W filters fit OK.
