Hi all,
I recently purchased a CV 35/2.5 Skopar PII without a lens hood, which is a real pain, so was on the way to buying a LH-4 hood for it, when I noticed in one of the ads that this lens hood could be used with the Heliar 50/2 lens as well.
Therefore would I be right in thinking that there is no reason not to use the lens hood that comes with the Heliar on the PII?
It's not a vented hood, (not sure if this is a problem??) but it could save me £40 I would rather not spend at the moment
Any thoughts or experiences with these hoods appreciated.

Hi Thea,
there might be vignetting. From pictures, the original Heliar hood looks too
narrow and long for 35mm. I haven't used it though myself, so I might
be wrong.
