Question for Leica Gurus

I just got a IIIa and I would like to get the little gizmo that converts the Leica shutter release to a standard shutter release cable. On the IIIa it looks as if whatever the gizmo is it must srcew in to the ID of the collar around the shutter. Or does the existing collar need to be removed and a different one installed to make use of standard cables?

I've looked on ebay in rf accessories and haven't found anything as of yet. Can someone point me in the right direction?
