Question for those in Japan

Are the stores in Japan still stocking used RD1s? Don't care about the prices, just wondering about availability. Sold mine, and miss it already. Curious if the Harajuku school kids have determined if this is the next must have retro toy??

As someone living in Tokyo, I know you can still find the RD-1 (S or X) in Shinjuku (Map Camera) or perhaps Nakano (Fujiya Camera). The prices still seem to be the same as one year ago.

The last time I saw them, they used Leicas.

ampguy, just to follow up on doublep's post, be aware that only the R-D1x is available new. Nice clean used samples of the R-D1 and R-D1s can be found fairly easily, but neither is available new anymore.

Thanks maddoc and jon, yes I'm aware that the RD1 and RD1S models would be used. Is the RD1x still in production, or just still in stock new?
