I use SLRs when I'm taking pictures of stuff that I'm selling. Other than that the M8 is always by my side.
I bought my first camera a little more than a year ago. Stopped using auto exposure within the first week and haven't since. At the time I thought it'd make me a better photographer but really I just like contrived challenges (I am a juggler among other things.)
I use Aperture Priority autoexposure a lot. It usually sets the exposure where I would manually anyway, and if not, it only takes a click of the thumb wheel to dial in compensation. Shoot mostly DSLR's, but also RF in various formats.
I don't own an SLR, just an M2 and an X100. On the X100 I usually use the autoexposure once, then set it manually after looking at the picture, unless I'm in a situation where lighting is constantly changing.
