Quite an hilarious M9-P review

Only Americans (often so literal) might not recognize this immediately as humor. In Europe, this is how we're funny, without a laugh track, and always tongue in cheek.

LOL ... there's a follow up video detailing how to use the Noctilux that is even better. :D

If this was serious (which I'm sure it's not) it would be a little sad actually!

Edit .... whoops I noticed someone already posted that link. ^

He was serious. I messaged him about a trade for a P&S with autofocus. Should be arriving next week. :)

Brilliant, the second video is genius laughing so hard.

The second one was very good IMO!

I hope digital review's Kai is looking at these .... this guy's the master at appearing to be genuinely stupid. :p

From the videos:

"If your subject is close, then you're more likely to get blurry pictures."

"A dial that says 5.6, 8, 11, you know, they skip a couple of numbers in between (...) you don't focus but you actually get darker pictures."

Oh now I know why some of my pictures don't come out right! :)

Seriously though, I don't think these videos are meant as a joke at all. The joke is actually on him: he went to a camera store, asked for the best camera available and the sales person sold him something he doesn't need and will never understand.

I know this kind of people too well. They are loaded with money and only buy stuff to show off what they have. This guy will now go from taking crappy pictures with a cheap P&S camera to taking crappy pictures with a 20.000 USD kit.

Even if this was 100% genuine, it's far from the worst. I got a friend complaining that her photos are always so dark because she set the camera to -3 compensation.

I'd thought I'd seen everything. Now I have.

It's got to be a spoof, unless the poor chap is delusional. He has to be to believe that any camera (never mind leica) user will benefit from his advice.

Maybe in his next video he will show us his new Ferrari and tell us he's disappointed it's manual gear shift only.

Besides, if he's going to shoot at f/4 all the time, why would he need a Noctilux?
