R-3A Rangefinder Alignment?

After a couple of years problem-free use the rangefinder image in my CV R-3A (with 40mm Nokton) has slipped slightly out of vertical alignment. I know the vetical alignment screw is accessible under the hot shoe but I don't know how to remove the shoe. Can anybody help me out with this?

Well thanks for all the non-help. I finally figured it out myself and made the adjustment in a few minutes. The little covering plate over the 4 screws holding on the base plate of the hot-shoe was the problem.

Yep.. there's information on the RFF on how to do this with photos.

If I had seen this post I would have pointed you to the "Search" function on the site - that's how I found the alignment instructions when I needed them the first time this occurred with mine.
