Well, maybe it's not after all. Maybe an X1 replacement then?
So what are Leica supposed to be revealing today at Photokina?

Also, where are the interchangeable lenses? Looks like a gimmicky (retro style) digital P&S to me.

Looks like a digital Konica Hexar to me... and that is a wonderful thing!

It is much of a Leica X1 replacement as some think (even though I believe it's not even comparable to X1, even the sensor is different (CMOS) etc.

My R-D1 replacement will be an M10 hopefully 🙂

Not much on an RD-1 replacement, no interchageable lenses or RF mechanism.

Nice looking camera, more of a digital Hexar, as mentioned- and another entry into the X1 class of camera.

Maybe I'll stick with film after all.
