R-D1s Repair report

Just wanted to say that I got my R-D1s back from Steve's Camera on Tuesday and its doing well. I would recommend Steve's Camera as other people have on this forum. Thanks Steve!

'Just got mine back from Steve too. Appears to be fine and yes, I too would recommend Steve for RD-1 work. 🙂

I like how clean mine is, how the alignement is actually aligned, and shutter sounds snappier.

What kind of turnaround time does Steve's Camera have for a general alignment and cleanup of an R-D1? It sounds like might be nice to get mine serviced before my trip to Armenia in the Spring.

The service was definitely worth it, and especially before a big trip. I think it was implied that mine's turn around was faster that usual. I FedEx'ed mine overnite to Steve, and got it exactly a week after he got it. I checked with Steve first and then sent him a FedEx label so it would come back overnite.
