Good queston. I was a bit surprised that the R3M didn't have 135mm framelines, given its high viewfinder magnification. My guess is that the higher magnification would compensate for the shorter rangefinder base length (compared to M6 x0.72) as long as the rangefinder is well adjusted but maybe it could get a bit dodgy in worst case situations, lke close portraits at full aperture. Just aguess.
Why no 135mm framelines? Either the rangefinder isn't up to it, or it's not such a popular focal length for rf cameras these days and they didn't want to clutter the viewfinder with something not used much. I used to be irritated by the 75mm framelines on the M6 standard x0.72 as it was a focal length that I had no intention of using. Many years later I have changed my mind on that, but I prefer the R3M for that lens.
