Excellent doc that showed off his superb photos. Wonderful working of exposure in light and in dark conditions. Very impressed with his environmental portraits.

Truly wonderful. It isn't often I watch programmes about photogs I admire and end up admiring them even more -- for their modesty, tenacity and vision. *And* he pilots light aircraft... Wonderful stuff if you can get to see it on the BBC's iPlayer.

For the BBC i-player, you have to log in from a UK based IP, so difficult if you are not a native (not impossible, but let's not go there!)
